Applause for Black Market Paper Society!

This evening I thought it might be a good idea to use some items, that at the time I purchased them I thought I had to have them... But I have never used any of them until today. Matter of fact I can say that three of things used to make these cards I have had from before I even moved to Topeka...so for a long time!
The card saying are: My life is blessed because of you and I thought of you today and I smiled.
Materials: Let it Bloom double sided printed paper by Black Market Paper Society (this paper is awesome. The colors are beautiful and the paper feels very silky smooth.) Peony colored card stock, Close to my Heart stamp set "Because of you", Close to my heart ink Twilight and Peony, metal embellishments from a kit I had to have from stampin up years ago but have not done anything with!! ;)

Somebody is missing somebody else in Ireland =)

Today's two cards are inspired by my favorite person in Ireland.

materials used on both cards: Bazzil yellow and green shimmering card stock, Best Creations Inc. shamrock style double sided card stock, Hero Art clear stamp set, 3'D glue dots, lime green rhinestones, cricut expressions accent essentials cartridge, and staz-on black ink.

Today I learned a new technique for journaling on the computer tonight. I made this cute spiral with the kids name on it to put on my scrapbook page. I downloaded a program called inkscapes on my computer. You can then select the shape you would like to journal in and then type what you want and then you can put them together. It was pretty easy!! I can't wait to try other fun journaling shapes!

The materials: Doodlebug double sided card stock, stickers and ribbon, and cute pictures of TJ, Karlee and Emma. The pictures were taken last spring at the Children's Museum of Kansas City. If you have never taken your young kids there it is worth the $5 entry fee. You can spend all day there doing all of their different stations.

In my thoughts

Chances are if you were the first person to sign up for my blog..... you maybe...getting this card in the mail. Sorry my picture is a little crooked but I think it works??
Materials: American Craft double sided card stock, water color paper, brown ink, black staz-on ink, Hero art colored gemstones, close to my heart markers, Hero art stamp sets: Sending Happy Thoughts and Birds & Branches, paper flowers, glue pad, and prima glitter.

I made this thank you gift for one of my husband's Co-workers. It was made with specific school paper in coordinating colors, various ribbons, ribbon slides, white rub-ons, metal charms and a empty set of alcohol bottles and carrying box. The bottles are each filled with different items; blueberry Jelly Bellys, blue M&M's, bath salts and a special thank you note.
